Welcome To Aversboro!
Aversboro Road Baptist is a community of believers with something for everyone. Here you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is to connect, grow, and serve. We're not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.
We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word, and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. With ministries and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!
6 Steps For Your First Visit At Aversboro
1. Choose A Service

Led by our worship band, we sing modern songs designed to engage us in the worship of Christ.
Also during this hour: Sunday school Small Groups for adults, Special Needs, and Preschool; Kids Worship for Grades 1-5
Traditional Worship- Sundays at 11:00am
Join us as we sing along with the piano, organ, and our Chancel Choir.
Also during this hour: Sunday School Small Groups for adults, students, & kids; Preschool Worship for ages 3-5.
2. Where Do I Park?
There is guest parking in both parking lots next to our building. We invite you to park in these convenient spots with direct access to the entrance.
3. Where Do I Enter?
On both sides of the building, there are signs pointing you in the direction of the main entrance doors. The North Side Parking lot (with the roundabout circle) is the entrance to the Sanctuary. If you have preschool or children, the best entrance to enter is the Carport entrance, in the Southside parking lot off of Claymore drive.
4. What About My Kids?
Our preschool and kid's ministry offers fun, safe, age-appropriate environments for babies through 5th grade during all services. The preschool and kid's ministry check-in is on the south side of the church. Team members will help get your kid(s) checked in.

5. What Do I Wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors the Lord. On a Sunday morning, you will see some people wearing jeans, polos, dresses, and suits with neckties!
Following with the CDC's current recommendations, masks are now optional for those that have been fully vaccinated (except for students in grades 6-12). We strongly encourage those that have not been vaccinated to continue to wear your masks. We ask that volunteers that work with children and students continue to wear masks.
6. Worship With Us!
At a weekend service, you can expect:
- An authentic worship service lasting about an hour
- Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible
