The Bible is an invitation to discover God’s Story and then to step into it. So the best thing we can do is to immerse ourselves into it – to read at length without distractions, with historical and literary perspectives, and in a life-long rhythm with friends. Immerse is a call to a vibrant, transformative relationship with God and others through His Word.
Immerse Messiah is built for better reading with comfortable single-column text, no chapters or verse markings, natural literary breaks, fresh book order to enhance the experience, using the Holy Bible, New Living Translation.
Immerse Messiah provides a unique guided journey through the entire New Testament. Each major section is anchored by one of the Gospels, highlighting the richness of Scripture’s fourfold witness to Jesus the Messiah. Immerse Messiah creates a fresh reading of the New Testament centered on Christ.
Our first session will be a deeper introduction to Immerse Messiah and what to expect in the weeks ahead. There will be a reading guide for each participant on what to read during the week between sessions. When we meet, we will all have an opportunity to share how our reading has been, what has stood out to you this week, and much more.
Each participant will be given a copy of the Immerse: Messiah.
If you have any questions in advance, please feel free to reach out to Brad Alford.
