Adult Small Groups

These are also known as Discipleship small groups.  The time varies according to the study.  Some are as few as four or five weeks and some are as long as twelve or thirteen.  The curriculum used and the topic of the study is chosen by the facilitator of the group.  In most all cases this curriculum uses a workbook that involves the learner in daily readings and activities.  Many of these studies are video driven and highly discussion oriented.  Curriculum is provided at a reduced cost to the participants. We invite you to come join us for one of these powerful studies as we learn how to follow Christ with all of our hearts!

Thriving In Babylon

Room 131
Led by Brad Alford

In this RightNow Media 5-session series, Larry Osborne introduces us to a man forced to live in a fast-changing and godless society. This man faced fears about the future, concern for his safety, and the discouragement of a world that seemed to be falling apart at warp speed. That man was Daniel, and with the power of hope, humility, and wisdom, he not only survived, but thrived. Each session also includes real-life stories of people struggling to thrive in an ever-increasing godless society. Though Daniel lived thousands of years ago, he has much to teach us today.

I & II Peter

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS,  May 24th-June 28th
Room 131
Led by Brad Alford

Join us as we read and discuss I & II Peter. The apostle wrote these letters to early believers to encourage them in their walk with Christ, to challenge them to live holy lives among a culture that didn’t follow God, to be aware of prophecy and alert to false teachings, and through it all to keep in mind the Day of the Lord to come. Peter’s messages to the church back then still speak to us today to grow strong in our faith and stand firm on the truth
